Features
  • The SCT 9550 XCalibrator 2 or 3200 Xcal 3 will store multiple Custom Tune files created by Hemifever Tuning, while storing the stock factory tune for easy restoration back to the stock configuration. These tunes work great for stock engines or engines with bolt-on type modifications. I'll increase your speed limiter and reduce/remove tq mgmt where applicable. I change the timing and fuel curve but no extra improvement customizations for cam/heads are applied. If you choose this option and then want custom programming later it's $100 or $200 depending on the custom programming option needed.

Title says it all! I received three standard tunes(titled 87, 89, 91 octane) for my SCT Tuner. In my pickup, all three ran better than stockin some aspect. The 91 ran a bit rich in my pickup, but has the most power increase, good for when I pull a trailer, but has a reduced fuel mileage when just normal driving. The 87 tune gets better mileage and a bit better power than stock. The 89 tune has more power than the 87 and stock, and didn't change my mileage from what I can tell. All three have better rpm/shift points.
